Why did you start refereeing?

In 2002 I played for the Beaconsfield Fc. Mr. Brian Metcalf (League Secretary) asked me to referee officially. Along with offering myself regular fixtures on the Crosby and District Sunday Football Leagues.

What is the most memorable match you have refereed and why?

My first Cup final at the Ramblers, seems so many years ago. I enjoyed it!

What is your current career highlight and why?

Being awarded LCFA Grassroots Referee of the year 2022/2023,

What would you like to achieve in the next year?

Keeping to caring about everyone involved in and around the football community.

What is your ultimate ambition?

To keep healthy and enjoy being involved in football.

Who has been/is your role model?

Mr. John Porter because he was a great role model and a decent person.

Best piece of advice given to you?

Always have a smile and enjoy what you are doing.
