In an inspiring display of community spirit and generosity, members of the Bootle Referee Society have come together to donate over 70 selection boxes to Alder Hey Hospital. The delivery of these festive gifts was made possible by the kind efforts of Scott Jackson, Francis Sibley, and Callum Jones, who personally ensured that the boxes reached their destination, bringing holiday cheer to the children.

Supporting Alder Hey’s Remarkable Work

Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is renowned as one of Europe’s largest and most vibrant children’s hospitals. It is a place where exceptional medical staff work tirelessly to treat everything from routine illnesses to highly complex and specialised conditions. The hospital is a beacon of hope and healing for countless families and children.

A Token of Joy in Challenging Times

The selection boxes represent more than just sweet treats; they symbolise the caring and compassionate ethos of our society. This gesture is our way of bringing a smile to the faces of young patients during the festive season, especially for those facing health challenges.

Spreading Festive Warmth

As Christmas approaches, we at the Bootle Referee Society wish to express our heartfelt Merry Christmas to everyone at Alder Hey. We admire your enduring strength and are humbled to contribute to the joy of the season in our own special way.

May these selection boxes bring a little extra sparkle to your holidays. Merry Christmas to all the staff, brave children, and their families at Alder Hey. Your indomitable spirit is an inspiration to us all.
