Voting is now open for the 2025/26 Bootle Referees’ Society Awards, giving our members the opportunity to recognise the referees and members who have made a real contribution to the Society over the past season.
The winners will be announced and the awards presented at our September meeting on Monday 7th September.
This year, members can vote across three categories:
🏆 Young Referee of the Year
Recognising one of our young referees who has impressed during the season through their performances, development, commitment and attitude towards refereeing.
Members can select their Young Referee of the Year from the eligible nominees listed on the voting form.
🏆 Most Valuable Member
Our Society is about much more than what happens on the pitch.
The Most Valuable Member Award recognises someone who has made an important contribution to Bootle Referees’ Society over the past year, whether through supporting fellow referees, helping at meetings and events, mentoring others or simply being someone who regularly goes above and beyond for the Society.
Members can nominate the person they believe deserves the award and can also tell us why they have chosen them.
🏆 Hall of Fame Award
The Bootle RA Hall of Fame recognises those who have made an outstanding and lasting contribution to refereeing and to our Society.
Members are invited to nominate someone they believe deserves to be inducted into the Hall of Fame and recognised for their contribution.

These are our members’ awards, so we want as many Bootle Referees’ Society members as possible to have their say.
Voting is open now and nominations close on Saturday 22nd August.
The winners will then be revealed at our September meeting.
